1. HOSTS, Gold Steps, Dana Ehrmann
THURSDAY FROM 7-9:30 P.M. | OPE! BREWING CO.
To celebrate its 12th anniversary, the Milwaukee Record is hosting a triple-bill concert at Ope Brewing in West Allis. Two bands, HOSTS and Gold Steps, will perform, as will local comedian Dana Ehrmann. Ope pitches in with a beer for the occasion, Bee-Side Honey Lager, which will be on draft and available for purchase in to-go cans. Food trucks will be on site, and there’s no cover charge. 2. Egg Day at the Zoo
SATURDAY FROM 9:30 A.M.-3 P.M. | MILWAUKEE COUNTY ZOO
Don your bunny ears (provided), catch one of three Bunny Parades throughout the day, count animal print eggs hidden through the grounds and enjoy the Easter season at the zoo. It’s all included with regular zoo admission, though add-ons include “Bunny Eggxpress” train rides and a brunch.
3. The Oddities and Curiosities Expo
SATURDAY AND SUNDAY, ALL DAY | BAIRD CENTER
The world’s largest oddities event is coming to Milwaukee this weekend. If you’re looking for a jar of preserved specimens or some creepy clothing, this event is a must. Day-of general admission is $20 and can be purchased online or at the door, with classes on topics like possum taxidermy available for an added fee.

4. Youth Zine Fest
THURSDAY-SATURDAY FROM 10:30 A.M.-2 P.M. | MILWAUKEE ART MUSEUM
Get your kids to tap into their creative side at Youth Zine Fest. The morning will start out with a story time in the gallery read by Dannette Justus. Then, local artist Laura Farahzad Mayer will help put together a handmade booklet filled with art, ideas and stories. Throughout the week, new materials will be displayed each day, so make sure to come back and add to your zine! This event is free with museum admission.
5. School’s Out Sling & Slice
THURSDAY AND FRIDAY FROM NOON-5 P.M. | SLINGSHOT BAR
This spring break extravaganza at Slingshot Bar allows kids 4 feet or taller to spend an hour plinking targets in the Jungle Junkyard Range. The $20 includes refreshments, too: a slice of pizza and an ice-cold drink with free refills. Reservations are recommended, but walk-ins are welcome.
6. Fourth Wing Paint Night

Get together a couple of friends and get creative with one of BookTok’s favorite titles, the Rebecca Yarros romantasy Fourth Wing. Whether you’re a seasoned painter or just trying it out, this class is perfect. Tickets are $40 and include everything you need to be successful in the class.
7. Couch Dog and Diet Lite

Hailing from LA, indie rock band Couch Dog is stopping at the Cactus Club during their spring tour. Local favorite Diet Lite is opening, so the show is bound to rock. Tickets to the all-ages show are $15 in advance or $20 at the door.

Opening this weekend, The Milwaukee Rep’s Frida… A Self Portrait follows the life of Mexican artist Frida Kahlo through music, movement and charm. Witness the bold, wild and passionate life of one of the world’s most iconic artists in this 75-minute show with no intermission.
9. Easter Brunch at The Studio

Celebrate Easter Sunday at The Studio in the Saint Kate with decadent dishes and a mimosa flight. Brunch includes a starter, entree and dessert for $59 for adults and $29 for children. Reservations are required, with a $10 per person hold required.
10. PokeKon-Fest

Check out the biggest one-day Pokemon trade show coming to Milwaukee this Saturday. Exhibitors will cover multiple interests including toys, cards, apparel, video games and artwork, so every Poke-fan is sure to find something they love. Jay Goede, the voice of the original Mewtwo, will present a panel as well. Tickets are available for purchase online and general admission starts at $23.
11. Mushroom Log Workshop
SATURDAY FROM 1 P.M. TO 4 P.M. | LYNDEN SCULPTURE GARDEN
Spend a spring morning with the Lynden Sculpture Garden land team and learn to inoculate sustainably harvested logs with oyster mushrooms. You’ll learn all about the process and take home a log and some mushrooms. Tickets are $60 for nonmembers and $51 for members and can be purchased online. Make sure to dress for the weather and wear shoes fit for muddy conditions.
12. Mobile Making Workshop
SUNDAY AT 1 P.M. | CACTUS CLUB
The history of the mobile includes delight and magical protection. Learn about mobiles while making one with Britt Malec and explore folk art and how it helps people connect. Malec’s work aims to create magic and meaning for her community. Tickets range from $20 to $30, with all materials provided. This class is part of the Cactus+ series and is suitable for all ages.
13. Bucks vs. Grizzlies
SUNDAY AT 2:30 P.M. | FISERV FORUM
Time is running out to catch a Bucks game at Fiserv Forum this season. This matchup against the Memphis Grizzlies – like the Bucks, on the outside of the NBA playoff picture – is one of just two home dates remaining for Milwaukee.
