The Old German Beer Hall (1009 N. Martin Luther King Jr. Dr.) is tapping a barrel of Hofbräu Oktoberfest at 6 p.m. and you can drink beer from it for free while it lasts.
The Milwaukee Beer Society is making a stop at Central Waters Brewing (1037 W. Juneau Ave.) at 6 p.m.
Paint a ceramic pumpkin tray at The Tap Yard – Waukesha (1927 E. Sunset Dr.) from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. The $50 ticket gets you the materials and a free beer.
Thursday, Sept. 11
The world’s largest gathering of breweriana collectors is coming to the Baird Center (400 W. Wisconsin Ave.) on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. The Brewery Collectibles Club of America’s CANvention includes a trade floor that’s open from noon to 5 p.m. on Friday and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday.
Dugtoberfest is happening all weekend at Dugout 54 (5328 W. Bluemound Rd.). The fun starts at 4 p.m. on Thursday. They’ll be pouring Oktoberfest beers from nearly a dozen breweries all weekend.
A pop-up women’s boxing class is taking place at Pilot Project Brewing (1128 N. Ninth St.) at 6 p.m. thanks to SheWolf MKE.
Saturday, Sept. 13
The Oktoberfest celebration at Sahale Ale Works (1505 Wisconsin Ave., Grafton) includes the release of Sahale Luftkuss Oktoberfest and Gathering Place Festbier. The party starts at noon and includes food and live music.
Black Husky Brewing (909 E. Locust St.) is the epicenter of Argren Faire, Riverwest’s Renaissance fair, from noon to 8 p.m. There will be food, feats of strength, a firkin tapping, and more. Read more here about the event, inspired by a series of fantasy novels from local authors.
Explorium Brewpub (5300 S. 76th St., Greendale) is throwing an Oktoberfest party. The festivities include a firkin tapping at 3 p.m., stein hoisting and live music.
Lakefront is the featured brewery at the School Sisters of St. Francis Oktoberfest from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the St. Joseph Center grounds (29th and Orchard Street).
Vennture Brew Co. celebrates all that’s pickled during Pickle Palooza at 3 p.m. at its Brookfield location (2970 N. Brookfield Rd.). The event means the release of Pickle Bruv and all sorts of pickle-themed consumables.
Torzala Brewing only has two more stints at the Whitefish Bay beer garden at Klode Park (5960 N. Lake Dr.). They’ll be pouring from 3 to 9 p.m.
Try samples from 3 Sheeps Brewing at Discount Liquor Milwaukee (5031 W. Oklahoma Ave.) from noon to 2 p.m.
Sunday, Sept. 14
JR’s Pups and Stuff will be at Lakefront Brewery (1872 N. Commerce St.) for a supply drive from noon to 4 p.m. Bring in a donation for the dog rescue and you get a free beer from Lakefront.

Friday, Sept. 19: Raised Grain Brewing kicks off a two-day 10th anniversary celebration that includes some amazing beer releases. The seventh annual Riverwest Food Truck Rally is also happening at Gathering Place Brewing (811 E. Vienna Ave.).
Thursday, Sept. 25: The Yelp Beer Hunt comes to the Brewhouse Inn and Suites (1215 N. 10th St.). The evening includes a scavenger hunt involving several local breweries and a party at OnTap Bar and Restaurant. The event is free but an RSVP is required.
Saturday, Sept. 27: Third Space Brewing (1505 W. St. Paul Ave.) celebrates its ninth anniversary with a party.
Thursday, Oct. 2: Tour the Milwaukee County Zoo (10001 W. Bluemound Ave.) with a beer in your hand during Zoo Brew.
Friday, Oct. 3: Milwaukee Oktoberfest begins at the Henry Maier Festival Park (200 N. Harbor Dr.). It runs through Sunday.
Saturday, Oct. 4: Layman Brewing (6001 W. Madison St.) is hosting a traditional fish boil and releasing a seasonal beer, Tequila Gordita Smoked Pumpkin. Tickets are $25 in advance.
