14 Beer Events Brewing in Milwaukee This Week: Oct. 31-Nov. 4

The busy fall beer season is winding down. But there are still a few beer releases and events to check out.

Tuesday, Oct. 31

Halloween festivities at Lakefront Brewery (1872 N. Commerce St.) include a double feature of The Addams Family (4:30 p.m.) and Scream (6:30 p.m.) and Oreo-flavored cheese curds. Show up in a full costume and you get your first beverage free.

The Supermoon Cellar Society is open to members. The club costs $125 and gets you access to extremely limited beers and other cool stuff.

1840 Brewing Company (342 E. Ward St.) is tapping a firkin of POP Blueberry with vanilla in honor of the holiday.

Celebrate Halloween at Indeed Brewing Company (530 S. 2nd St.) with four candy-inspired beer infusions.


It’s time to pick your Milwaukee favorites for the year!

 

Wednesday, Nov. 1

1840 Brewing Company is releasing Saaz of It, a French saison made in collaboration with Bavarian Bierhaus.

Thursday, Nov. 2

Take a trip to Apis Hotel & Restaurant (614 56th St., Kenosha) for a fantastic Belgian beer dinner with pours from Brewery St. Bernardus and Brewery Verhaeghe Vichte from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tickets are $75 and the beers will be available for purchase as well.

Friday, Nov. 3

Third Space Brewing (1505 W. St. Paul Ave.) releases Living in the Past Pre-Prohibition Lager. They’ll be spinning music from five decades to provide a soundtrack.

Try samples from Central Waters Brewing (3 to 5 p.m.) and Explorium (3 to 6 p.m.) at Discount Liquor Milwaukee (5031 W. Oklahoma Ave.).

Discount Liquor Waukesha (919 N. Barstow St.) will have samples from Component Brewing from 3 to 5 p.m.

Saturday, Nov. 4

Head to Lion’s Tail Brewing (8520 W. North Ave.) for Yoga on Tap at 11 a.m. The 45-minute session costs $20 and includes a beverage when you’re done.

Hot Dish Pantry is coming to 1840 Brewing for a pierogi and beer pairing from 3 to 7 p.m. Keep an eye on the 1840 events page for details.

The Kern Park Kross cyclocross race is happening at 9 a.m. and Amorphic Beer (3700 N. Fratney St.) will be open at 10 a.m. serving beermosas and breakfast. Those bold enough to endure the grueling sport can wash their bikes at Amorphic when the race is over.

New Barons Brewing Co-op (2018 S. 1st St.) is releasing Drop the Gloves, a hockey-themed imperial pilsner.

Try samples from Central Waters at Discount Liquor Waukesha from noon to 2 p.m.
