Next time you’re looking to bowl a few frames, consider these local lanes.

1. Falcon Bowl 

801 E. CLARKE ST. 

This historic bowling alley underneath a bar in Riverwest has been welcoming guests since 1915. The space also recently launched a Falcon Nest performance venue, where you can catch live music. View the upcoming events list here.  

2. Holler House 

2042 W. LINCOLN AVE.

With no flashy screens and actual people resetting the pins instead of machines, Milwaukee’s Holler House opened in 1908 and is now the oldest sanctioned bowling alley in the United States. Reserve your slot in one of these two bowling lanes tucked underneath a tavern for a nostalgic game. 

3. Landmark Lanes 

2220 N. FARWELL AVE.

This East Side bowling alley offers retro arcade games, steel tip darts, pool, live music, karaoke and three bars, with drink specials every day of the week.

4. The New Fashioned

You can enjoy some of Coconut Bowl’s authentic Jamaican food, like jerk chicken, during your bowling night out.

This national chain’s Milwaukee location offers weekly promotions, low-commitment social clubs and a wide variety of food and drink.

7. Lucky Lanes

8. Brown Deer Lanes

This bowling alley hosts multiple leagues, plus open bowl times throughout the week.

9. Classic Lanes

Looking to bowl after dark? Greenfield’s Classic Lanes offers late-night bowling Fridays and Saturdays, when it stays open past 10 p.m. until an unspecified close time “based off of business flow.”

This family-owned business in Franklin offers lanes for players of all ages and skill levels, leagues and tournaments, and an extensive drink menu.

11. Bowlero 

11737 W. BURLEIGH ST., WAUWATOSA

Aside from featuring 35 bowling lanes, Bowlero offers one of the most popular arcades in Milwaukee. Reservations are required for a casual game, bowling tournament or special event.
