12 Beer Events Brewing in Milwaukee This Week: Feb. 9-14

Weddings at Lakefront Brewery, rare beer releases, beer dinners, chocolate pairings — there’s a lot going on this week when it comes to craft beer.

Tuesday, Feb. 9

The fourth iteration of Lager and Listen happens on Zoom at 7 p.m. The series, a collaboration between MobCraft Beer and MKE Black, hosts a roundtable discussion with the topic of Forced Classifications Based on Appearance.

Thursday, Feb. 11

Raised Grain Brewing (1725 Dolphin Dr., Waukesha) is releasing Unique Toy Hazy IPA at 4 p.m. The brew is made with seven different IPAs.

Friday, Feb. 12

Preorder 1840 Brewing Company’s collaboration with Hacienda Beer Co. on Friday. The beer Parking Lot Party, is a saison aged in Pineau des Charentes and Cabernet Sauvignon barrels. Presale is from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Bottle pickup is at 1840 Brewing (342 E. Ward St.) from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday and noon to 5 p.m. on Saturday.

Saturday, Feb. 13

MobCraft is hosting a beer and chocolate pairing on  Zoom at 7 p.m. Preorder a four-course pairing, that includes four beers and eight chocolates from Burke Candy, by Thursday at noon. Pick up the delicious package on Saturday any time after 1 p.m. Cost is $42.

The trip to 3 Sheeps Brewing (1837 North Ave., Sheboygan) is well worth it for a bottle or two of Ab Ovo. The extremely limited imperial stout has been aged for three years in rye whiskey barrels. Bottles aare $35 each and there’s a two-bottle limit. Order online at 8 a.m. and pickup the same day.

To mark Valentine’s Day, Hacienda Beer Co. (2018 E. North Ave.) hosts a pair of three-course beer dinners on Saturday and Sunday. Several times are available, and the cost per couple is just $80.

Indeed Brewing (530 S. 2nd St.) is releasing Star-Crossed Mexican Chocolate Churro Stout at noon. The stout is brewed with cacao nibs, cinnamon, brown sugar and vanilla. Preorder is available now. Churros and tacos will be available during the release event and you get a complimentary churro with the purchase of two bottles, which is nice.

The Fermentorium (7481 State Road 60, Cedarburg) releases Blackberry Juice Packets IPA at noon in cans and on tap.

Sunday, Feb. 14

Steph from Lakefront Brewery hosts Beer Class at Red Lion Pub (1850 N. Water St.) at 2 p.m. For $40 you can learn about beer styles, sample five Lakefront beers and an entree from Red Lion Pub.

Eagle Park Brewing (S64 W15640 Commerce Center Pkwy, Muskego) is hosting a Valentine’s Day Brunch. Seatings are at 10 a.m., 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. and require a reservation.

A yoga session starts the day at Faklandia Brewing (3807 S. Packard Ave.) at 11 a.m. It’s followed by a casual beer and chocolate pairing.
