12 Beer Events Brewing in Milwaukee This Week: April 5-8

Cheers to Broken Bat Brewing and Urban Harvest Brewing for celebrating anniversaries this week.

Wednesday, April 5

Aman’s Beer+Wine (110 Chapman Farm Blvd., Mukwonago) is releasing Aman’s Barrel-Aged Barley Wine, a collaboration with Lakefront Brewery from 7 to 10 p.m. They’ll be pouring three other Lakefront brews including My Turn: Jovani Jamaican Lager, Barrel-Aged Old Fashioned Strong Ale and a 2020 Black Friday Imperial Stout. Lakefront founder Russ Klisch will be there too. A $20 ticket gets you a 4-ounce pour of each beer.

Badger State Brewing is taking over the taps at Ray’s Growler Gallery (8930 W. North Ave.) at 4 p.m. Besides beer, they’re also bringing some putting games to coincide with The Masters.

The fourth week of Merriment Madness at Merriment Social (240 E. Pittsburgh Ave.) pits burgers created by Lakefront Brewery and Indeed Brewing against each other. Try each and vote on your favorite.

Friday, April 7

Friday is National Beer Day. Do with that information what you must.

Old Times’ Sake English IPA is the weekly release by 1840 Brewing Company (342 E. Ward St.). Preorder after 9 a.m. and pick it up all weekend.

Gallery Night returns to Gathering Place Brewing (811 E. Vienna Ave.). Photographer Mike Westfahl is the featured artist. Get there at 5 p.m. to check out his work.

Try samples from Hinterland Brewery and Raised Grain Brewing at Discount Liquor Milwaukee (5031 W. Oklahoma Ave.) from 3 to 5 p.m.

Badger State Brewing is handing out samples at Discount Liquor Waukesha (919 N. Barstow St.) from 4 to 6 p.m.

Saturday, April 8

Urban Harvest Brewing (1024 S. 5th St.) celebrates seven years of beer from 1 to 8 p.m. The festivities include the release of PriBock, a maibock, and Hopsitively, a hazy New England IPA. The Rose Mob Grill food truck will be there too.

There’s another birthday party happening on Saturday. Broken Bat Brewing (135 E. Pittsburgh Ave.) marks six years of baseball-themed brews by releasing five beers, bringing in a few food trucks and hosting a few other fun events. The fun runs from noon to midnight.

Create a floral spring centerpiece at Indeed Brewing (530 S. 2nd St.) from noon to 2 p.m. The $60 ticket gets you all that you need to create something cool, plus a beverage to go with it.

Titletown Brewing is handing out samples from noon to 3 p.m. at Discount Liquor Milwaukee.
