11 Beer Events Brewing in Milwaukee This Week: May 19-22

It’s beer garden season!

Wednesday, May 19

Sprecher Brewing’s Pass Me a Pint Tour kicks off at West Milwaukee Park (5000 W. Burnham St.). It’ll be there until June 6. Hours are 5 to 9 p.m. on weekdays and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

Thursday, May 20

Tap Yard Bayshore (5689 N. Bayshore Dr.) is giving a few of its taps to Revolution Brewing from 4 to 9 p.m. A couple are barrel-aged standouts from one of the better barrel programs in all of the land.

Third Space Brewing is taking over a few of the taps at Tap Yard Waukesha (1150 W. Sunset Dr.). The menu includes Mystic Knot Barrel-Aged Irish-Style Coffee Stout.

Head to The Drunk Uncle (1902 S. 68th St., West Allis) from 4 to midnight to join the bar and Lakefront Brewery for a good cause. Proceeds from taps of My Turn: Al American Stout benefit the American Cancer Society. The beer honors Al Kluth, a Lakefront warehouse manager who died of pancreatic cancer in 2020.

Friday, May 21

It’s not always easy to get a bottle or two from Supermoon Beer Co. (3145 S. Howell Ave.). But there are four Supermoon beers available for pickup on Friday (noon to 7 p.m.) and Saturday (11:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.). Order now online to be sure you get one. The Launchdown Farmhouse Style Raspberry Beer sounds especially delicious.

Also in Bay View, 1840 Brewing (342 E. Ward St.) is releasing Sea Foam Fruited Sour, an oat cream ale made with pineapple, passionfruit, lactose and blue spirulina. Presale starts at 9 a.m. on Friday and pickup begins Friday at 3 p.m.

New Barons Brewing Cooperative (2018 S. 1st St.) is hosting a benefit for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society thanks to Monika Zupek. Check out the details on Facebook.

Raised Grain Brewing’s beer garden opens up at Muskego Park (S83 W20370 Janesville Rd.) over the weekend. Hours are 4 to 9 p.m. on Friday and 3 to 9 p.m. on Saturday.

Sahale Ale Works (1505 Wisconsin Ave., Grafton) is releasing its collaboration with Beloit’s G-Five Brewing at 5 p.m. Details are hush, hush now, but keep an eye out for more details on what is a unique brew.

The 28th Annual Wine, Beer and Chocolate Tasting comes to the Bavarian Bierhaus (700 W. Lexington Blvd.) from 7 to 9 p.m. (6 to 9 p.m. for VIPs). Proceeds benefit St. Francis Children’s Center.
