Build a heart mosaic with your “galentines” at Eagle Park Brewing (823 E. Hamilton St.) at 6:30 p.m. Women of all ages (older than 16, at least) can create a cool mosaic for $50.

Thursday, Feb. 5

Lakefront Brewery (1872 N. Commerce St.) is releasing a new year-round beer, Tropical Rabbit IPA, and marking the occasion by tapping a free half barrel at 5 p.m. They’ll also be hosting hula hoop, limbo and Hawaiian shirt contests.

Saturday, Feb. 7

Mittenfest, the massive annual block party at Burnhearts (2599 S. Logan Ave., Bay View), is happening from noon to 8 p.m. It always includes live music, food and some rare high-octane beers to help keep you warm. The partner breweries are once again Central Waters and Founders, and some proceeds benefit Hunger Task Force.

Black Husky Brewing (909 E. Locust St.) hosts a unique event that benefits those in the Ukraine starting at 2:30 p.m. They’ll be releasing a doppelbock and classing up the place with two musical performances of pieces by Bach. One of the musicians is violinist Nero Eichinger, the grandson of Black Husky owners Tim and Toni Eichinger.

Indeed Brewing (530 S. Second St.) continues Beer Brûlée as long as it’s chilly outside. From 4 to 7 p.m. you can “poke” your beer with a red-hot implement (imparting caramelization) and even make s’mores if you’re so inclined.

Try non-alcoholic samples from Stevens Point Brewery at Discount Liquor Milwaukee (5031 W. Oklahoma Ave.) from noon to 3 p.m.

Sunday, Feb. 8

Join a one-hour yoga session at Ope! Brewing Company (6751 W. National Ave., West Allis) at 10 a.m. Cost is $20 and when you’re done, you get a beer courtesy of Ope!

The winter version of the Riverwest Farmers Market comes to Amorphic Beer (3700 N. Fratney St.) from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Adoptable dogs from MADACC and Winston’s Wishes are headed to Broken Bat Brewery (135 E. Pittsburgh Ave.) from 1 to 3 p.m. Meet a few and maybe take one home.

Supermoon Beer Co. (3145 S. Howell Ave.) also has a Galentines event: this paint and sip from 4 to 6 p.m. Tickets are $30.
