Pastiche Bistro to Open Second Location in Brown Deer

Pastiche Bistro to Open Second Location in Brown Deer

The Bay View country French restaurant will open a sister restaurant in the digs of set-to-close River Lane Inn.

Bay View’s Pastiche Bistro and Wine Bar (3001 S. Kinnickinnic Ave.) is getting a sibling. Owner Mike Engel just inked the deal for Pastiche’s second restaurant — in the the building that currently occupies River Lane Inn (4313 W. River Ln., Brown Deer). River Lane will close on Dec. 23; that will open up the space for the Pastiche crew to start making decorative changes. Engel says the menu will be very similar to the Bay View location’s, but the food and wine lists will evolve over time.  Engel’s respect for River Lane owner Jim Marks and his restaurant means there are some RL touches he may keep. Pastiche Brown Deer is expected to open in February 2016. More details to come soon.
