3 Ales of Summer
1. 3 Sheeps Offshore
3 SHEEPS BREWING CO.
The bitter West Coast IPA is back, and Offshore’s pithy citrus and pine character is perfect for summer quenching.
2. Dovetail Kölsch
DOVETAIL BREWERY
If you care to study this feather-light beer, you’ll find delicate fruity, spicy and herbal/grassy notes; if you care to crush it, it goes down waaay too easy.
3. Allagash White
ALLGASH BREWING COMPANY
The Maine-brewed Belgian-style witbier is everything Blue Moon wishes it could be: sweet wheat, peppery spice and soft citrus.

Love That Lager
The reasons get a little technical, but know this: Lagers are the best beers for the hot days of summer because they’re clean and refreshing. In contrast to their ale siblings, the yeast that ferments lager gets out of the way of its more central ingredients to let those hops and malts shine. The flavor profiles of lagers can vary widely – the doppelbocks and Baltic porters of winter, say – but most are simply beers that taste like beer. What a concept!
