RELATED: YOUR MOTHER’S DAY GIFT GUIDE
ANY TIME | MULTIPLE LOCATIONS
Mother’s Day and brunch go together like eggs and bacon, which is why this non-event has made the list. This week, we dropped a list of what we consider to be some of the best brunch spots in Milwaukee. Make a reservation and treat your mom to a wonderful meal that comes with high recommendations.
FRIDAY AT 8 P.M. | VIRTUAL EVENT
This virtual event is hosted by Indulgence Chocolatiers. You pick up your kit in advance, and then Julie Waterman will lead you and your mom through a tasting and pairing over Facebook live. Each kit includes three bottles of wine and enough cheese and confections for four people to enjoy ($80).
SUNDAY FROM 9:30 A.M.-4 P.M. | 10001 W. BLUEMOUND RD.
It’s free admission for mothers at the Milwaukee County Zoo!
SUNDAY AT 9 A.M. | 917 W. JUNEAU AVE.
Bring your mom for some yoga, baby goat cuddles and an adorable photo-op with some three-month-old baby dwarf goats. Each session includes 30 minute of “super chill, sure to be slightly spontaneous yoga” followed by 30 minutes of goat mingling ($49 per person, or $85 two people).
5. Tulip Fest
ALL WEEKEND | 909 ENGLISH PRAIRIE RD., SPRING GROVE, ILLINOIS
We’ve recommended this a couple of times on our website, but Mother’s Day is the absolute last day to check out this festival. It’s about an hour’s drive from Milwaukee and the festival features thousands of tulips in an assortment of colors heights and shapes. You can even pick your own bouquet for your mom while your there.
