When Jayme Heineck arrived at IAG Wealth Partners as a new financial advisor after a career pivot, she quickly knew she’d made the right decision. “The team at IAG has guided me throughout my career, generously sharing their time, experience and the lessons they’ve learned along the way,” she says.

Heineck was mentored by Lori Watt, who founded the financial planning and wealth management firm in 1985. Over the years, Watt has built a team of experienced advisors with specialties including retirement, divorce and business succession planning. That depth of knowledge, combined with a commitment to clients, creates an environment where advisors learn from one another while providing thoughtful, personalized guidance. “Financial advising requires a tremendous amount of knowledge,” Heineck says. “It’s important to surround yourself with people you can learn from and rely on.”

“This career is about so much more than helping a person with their investments. I am proud of the relationship that I have built with my clients.”

-Jayme Heineck

Q&A

What advice do you have for other women who want to pursue a career like yours?

Several of the advisors at IAG have guided me throughout my career, generously sharing their time, experience, and the lessons they’ve learned along the way. Financial advising requires a tremendous amount of knowledge, and because laws and regulations are constantly evolving, it’s important to surround yourself with people you can learn from and rely on. There are many complexities to this profession, and trying to navigate them entirely on your own can ultimately be a disservice to your clients. – Jayme Heineck

What are some achievements you’re proud of?

I am proud of the relationship that I have built with my clients. This career is about so much more than helping a person with their investments. I really need to know them personally to help identify their goals and address their true concerns. I am also proud of the partnership that I created with Great Midwest Bank. In 2019 they needed an advisor and they saw the value of working with me and the IAG team. – Jayme Heineck
