A good way to appreciate just how impressive the craft beer scene is in the Badger State is to attend the Wisconsin Beer Lovers Festival. The event draws roughly 35 Wisconsin breweries to Bayshore Town Center, and attendees work their way around the state armed with a small sample glass. Tom Ciula, a local craft beer aficionado who pens a weekly – and well-regarded – beer newsletter, says, “Besides having a fantastic variety of Wisconsin beers, many of the owners and brewers actually show up at this one, sharing stories and answering questions.” On, Wisconsin.
