Where to Shop for Plants in Milwaukee This Spring

It’s time to get planting!

 Friends of the Monarch Trail Plant Sale 

MAY 10-11 AT 11 A.M | GREENFIELD PARK PAVILION 

Pre-order milkweeds and other native plants for pickup in May. They also offer monarch habitats-in-a-bag, such as Swamp Milkweed, Blue Vervain and New England Aster; full flat specialty flower mixes, such as Purple Coneflower, Wild Columbine, and Scarlet Beebalm; and fledging gardeners mixes, including Stiff Coreopsis and Brown Eyed Susan to help promote the restoration of loss habitats for monarchs. Individual species will also be available on the days of the sale.

Ozaukee Master Gardeners Annual Plant Sale 

MAY 17 FROM 9 A.M.- 12 P.M. | OZAUKEE CO. FAIRGROUNDS 

Ozaukee Master Gardeners will host its annual plant sale on May 17. Find 270 types of plants, including pollinators, hostas, shade and sun perennials, aromatics, herbs, tomatoes, vegetables and more. Proceeds from the sale funds projects, programs and scholarships.

Fox Point Garden Club Annual Plant Sale 

MAY 10 FROM 9 A.M.- 12 P.M. | LONGACRE PAVILION 

For over 70 years, the Fox Point Garden club has nurtured connections through gardens in the community. They’ll have various plant options, including vegetables, and miscellaneous garden items at their sale in May.

Stone Bank Farm Market Plant Sale 

MAY 8-11 FROM 8 A.M.- 6 P.M. | STONE BANK FARM MARKET 

Expand your collection of vegetables, herbs, and flowers at the Stone Bank Farm Market’s annual plant sale. This sale will feature marigolds, sunflowers, cosmos, basil, chives, cabbage, cucumber and zucchini. 

Roots And Branches Spring Plant Sale 

MAY 16-17 | CORNER OF MAIN AND VAIN STREETS, WEST BEND 

Shop locally grown annuals and winter-hardy perennials at Roots and Branches’ annual plant fundraiser. Perennials will be available in gallon pots, and annuals in flats, half-flats, and 4.5-inch pots.

2025 Bloom And Groom Plant Sale 

MAY 17 AT 9 A.M. | ENDERIS PLAYFIELD 

This annual plant sale will offer a variety of annual flowering plants, tomatoes and peppers provided by the Minors Garden Center

Burlington Area Garden Club Annual Plant Sale 

MAY 17 FROM 8:30-11:30 A.M. | RIVERSIDE PARK PAVILLION 

The Burlington Area Garden Club is bringing a wide selection of plants from perennials, shrubs, houseplants, trees and upcycled garden treasures to its annual plant sale. Proceeds from the sale will go directly to scholarship funds for students studying horticulture-related fields at technical colleges or at the university level.  

Wildflowers For Wildlife 

MAY 17 FROM 9:30 A.M.-1:30 P.M. | HORICON MARSH EDUCATION AND VISITOR CENTER 

Create a colorful garden with plants and flowers that helps promote the ecosystems and attracts butterflies, birds and pollinating insects. Choose from a variety of standard species, such as nodding wild onion, rose swamp milkweed, big-leaved aster, and specialty species such as turk’s cap lily, shooting star, wild geranium and more. This event will have experts in attendance to answer any questions on how to raise your plants.  

Annual Perennial Plant Sale & Raffle 

MAY 31 FROM 9 A.M. TO 2 P.M. | CEDARBURG CULTURAL CENTER 

Cederburg Garden Club is hosting its annual plant sale, featuring herbs, perennials, houseplants. There will also be raffle prizes to support the club.

Friends of Wehr Native Plant Fundraiser 

MAY 31- JUNE 1 FROM 10 A.M.- 3 P.M. | WEHR NATURE CENTER 

Friends of Wehr offers a wide selection of Southeast Wisconsin native plants, including spring ephemeral, woodlands, wetland and prairie plants.
