3 New Things Coming to Milwaukee in February

A new album, a new novel and a 17-court pickleball palace

1. When We Were Bears

Composed over eight years across Wisconsin, the debut album from pianist Alicia Rytlewski is pensive, grounded and fit for waiting out winter doldrums. It’s out now.

It’s time to pick your Milwaukee favorites for the year!

2. A Forty Year Kiss

Nickolas Butler made a splash in 2013 with his small-town Wisconsin novel Shotgun Lovesongs. His latest book returns to the Badger State and sees a divorced couple rekindle their relationship decades later. It’s out Feb. 4.
