Good news, people. The Vanguard is throwing its hat into the Sunday brunch ring, starting March 1. You think sausage savant Shay Linkus knows his way around links and buns? Check out these examples from his brunch menu: chicken-fried breakfast sausage with chive and cheddar biscuits and ranch gravy; lamb hash with harissa hollandaise and slow egg; grilled avocado with tofu scramble, potato sticks and Scotch bonnet jam; and the Pan American, a jumbo breakfast link fried in pancake batter, served syrup, maple butter and (get this) funnel cake ($5-$10).
