First up, we have celebrated authors Karen Page and Andrew Dorenburg, who make a stop in MKE on Nov. 10 in support of their new book, Kitchen Creativity. They’re the guests of honor at the 5 Flavors Dinner at Amilinda (315 E. Wisconsin Ave.) on Nov. 10. They’re taking reservations for two seatings – 6 p.m. 8:30 p.m. The chefs from Dandan, Goodkind and Buckley’s join the Amilinda crew to prepare the five-course, flavor-inspired dinner.
If you have nothing going on on Thursday Oct. 26, the Wisconsin Foodie Fall Cheese Tour with Larry’s Brown Deer Market is happening. It’s an all-day affair, with a lunch stop in Kohler. If you can get a seat on the caravan, which departs from Larry’s Market, do it!
