This Bites: Ringing In the New Year With a Very Special Meal

From fancy prix-fixe meals to bowls of Real Chili, meals to help make a memorable (at least, delicious) NY’s Eve.

It’s almost 2018! And how you can celebrate New Year’s Eve is exactly what Tarik Moody and I talk about in this NY’s Eve edition of This Bites, on 88Nine Radio Milwaukee.

A lot of restaurants are doing special menus, balloon drops, Champagne toasts and the whole she-bang. We tell you about some of them – from Braise Restaurant to Tre Rivali at the Kimpton Journeyman Hotel. And if you’re Tarik, it’s the perfect time to get Real Chili. (But then, when isn’t the perfect night for Real Chili?) If you’re me and you want to avoid the Eve crowds, pick up a burek from Three Brothers and you’ve got a pretty amazing appetizer or dinner for two at home.

If you’re you are a chef or own a restaurant and have an announcement or an event – or you just have an awesome idea for This Bites – please send the info to
