This Bites: Alton Brown, Harry Potter and Haunted Caves

Sounds like a cozy weekend for Milwaukee foodies.

I know what I’m doing this weekend ‒ binge-watching food shows like “Chef’s Table,” whose fifth season is available for streaming right this very minute (Season 6 heads our way in 2019).

Tarik Moody and I dig that show, so it’s the lead-off topic on this installment of This Bites, our weekly culinary podcast on 88Nine Radio Milwaukee. We’ll tell you why Season 5 is an important one. And then, there’s Alton “Good Eats” Brown, who is back in familiar Netflix territory. His show, “Good Eats: Reloaded,” premieres Monday, Oct. 15 on Netflix. Get the start of your 13-episode fix!

Are you a Harry Potter book/movie fan and feeling hungry for some Hogworts? Shully’s Cuisine & Catering in Thiensville is doing a Harry Potter Pop-up Dinner on Friday, Oct. 26. Learn more about that. And, finally… Tarik’s favorite event of the season, the Haunted Caves Beer-pairing Dinner on Thursday, Oct. 25, at the Historic Miller Caves.

Listen to “Oct 12th – The Return of Good Eats, Chef’s Table, Harry Potter Pop-Up & The Haunted Caved Dinter” on Spreaker.
