1. Summer Gallery Night

FRIDAY AND SATURDAY | MILWAUKEE

Gallery Night MKE is returning for its summer event: two days of gallery hopping and art viewing throughout Milwaukee neighborhoods, including the Historic Third Ward, East Town, Walker’s Point and more. Visitors can purchase original and local art at 50+ participating venues. Admission is free to all venues during event hours.

2. Riverwest Blueberry Fest

SATURDAY FROM 10 A.M.-4 P.M. | 808 E. CHAMBERS STREET

Make your way to the corner of Chambers and Fratney for Riverwest’s first-ever Blueberry Fest, a community block party celebrating all things (you guessed it) blueberry! Starting at 10 a.m., you can find vintage goods and art from The Polish Flat, a special blueberry pancake breakfast and blueberry lemonade from Seven Swans Crêperie, a flower bar by Eucalyptus and Co. and much more. Plus, there’s a lineup of live music throughout the day. Check out who’s performing at the Terrapin Station stage here.

3. WaterStone Bank Air & Water Show

SATURDAY AND SUNDAY | MCKINLEY PARK & BRADFORD BEACH

Been hearing some roaring from the sky this week? The Blue Angels, along with other military and civilian air performers, are gearing up for their flight demonstration at the annual WaterStone Bank Air & Water Show. The lakefront takeover will begin at 10 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday, with tickets available for reserved seating and parking.

4. Waukesha County Fair

ALL WEEKEND | WAUKESHA COUNTY EXPOSITION CENTER

It’s state and county fair season! And this weekend, you can find all the entertainment at the Waukesha County Expo grounds – from farm animals to a ferris wheel. The Miller Lite main stage will host headlining performances on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, including “You, Me, And Whiskey” singer Justin Moore. Tickets to the fair are $14 for adults and $8 for children.

5. Milwaukee Milkmen

ALL WEEKEND | FRANKLIN FIELD

The Milwaukee Milkmen will take on the Chicago Dogs on Thursday and the Cleburne Railroaders Friday through Sunday. And if you’re missing colors in the sky, be sure to stop by Friday night’s game – there will be a post-game firework show. Grab tickets here.

6. The Drowsy Chaperone

ALL WEEKEND | RACINE THEATRE GUILD

Transport into the world of an imaginary 1928 musical, The Drowsy Chaperone, this weekend at the Racine Theatre Guild. With a 7 p.m. showtime on Friday, 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. showtimes on Saturday, and a 2 p.m. showtime on Sunday, there are plenty of opportunities to catch the five-time Tony Award-winning work.

7. Sugar Camp 2025

ALL WEEKEND | THE SUGAR MAPLE

Pop by The Sugar Maple to celebrate summer from 4 p.m. to midnight on Friday, noon to midnight on Saturday and noon to 10 p.m. on Sunday. Sugar Camp 2025 will feature outdoor activities like a hot dog sucking contest, food trucks, a fire pit and more. 8. Schlitz Audubon After Dark: A Summer Camp for Grown Ups

THURSDAY FROM 6:30-9 P.M. | SCHLITZ AUDUBON NATURE CENTER

Enjoy summer like a kid again at this summer-camp-inspired 21+ night at the Schlitz Audubon Nature Center. You can make nostalgic summer camp crafts, play classic outdoor games, eat s’mores around a bonfire and more, all with a drink in hand. Register here. One drink is included with a ticket, and additional drinks will be available for purchase.

9. HOG Fest “Shock and Awe”

THURSDAY AT 7 P.M. | FISERV FORUM

Local radio station 102.9 The Hog presents HOG Fest “Shock and Awe” is coming up, featuring Five Finger Death Punch (5FDP) and Marilyn Manson, with special guest The Funeral Portrait. Expect a night full of energy and intensity starting at 7 p.m. Doors open at 6 p.m., and tickets are on sale here.

10. Gallery Talk: “Erin Shirreff: Permanent Drafts”

FRIDAY AT NOON | MILWAUKEE ART MUSEUM

Join Kristen Gaylord, Herzfeld Curator of Photography and Media Arts and the exhibition curator, for an exploration of themes and topics in the exhibition “Erin Shirreff: Permanent Drafts.” The collection of works includes over 40 of Shirreff’s recent collages, photographs, sculptures and videos, some specific to the Milwaukee Art Museum.

11. Youth Art Show

FRIDAY AT 4 P.M. | WALKER’S POINT CENTER FOR THE ARTS

Stop in to see creations by summer art camp students, and stay for the premiere of the original short animation Artist Bites: Creativity That Heals, Food That Sustains, a collaboration between Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin and local animator Marz Ezeji. This free, family-friendly event will also feature a foodscape curated by Bint Jamila’s Table and creative and wellness workshops for all ages.

12. Music on the Beerline: Urban Empress and the UrbanItes

FRIDAY FROM 6-8:30 P.M. | BEERLINE PLAZA

Music on the Beerline is back for its second event of the 2025 Beerline Celebration Series. On Friday night, the Mayor’s award-winning Beerline Plaza will host music by Urban Empress and the UrbanItes, along with the 53212Marketplace Mini, food trucks, Amorphic Beer and family-friendly activities.

13. Figure Drawing Session

FRIDAY FROM 7-9 P.M. | MUZA CHURCH

Join artists Margaret Muza and Heather Hass for an all-levels figure drawing session on Friday evening at Muza Church. Paper and pencils will be provided, but the event is BYOB and other supplies. Donations for the model will be accepted at the door.

Known for her appearances on shows like MTV’s “Wild ‘n Out” and Russell Simmons’ “All Def Comedy” on HBO, the Baltimore-born-and-raised comic is spending her weekend at The Improv, with four shows across Friday and Saturday. In a recent Instagram reel, Jess said, “The state that y’all are in right now, man, Milwaukee needs some laughter. I know y’all are going through a lot right now, so I’m coming to the city. 15. Milwaukee Riverkeeper’s Adopt-a-River Cleanup

SATURDAY FROM 9-11 A.M. | HUBBARD PARK

16. Relay for Life

SATURDAY AT 5 P.M. | WEST ALLIS ATHLETIC COMPLEX

Fight back against cancer at Relay for Life of Greater Milwaukee, a community walk to benefit the American Cancer Society. This year, the event is celebrating its 40th anniversary, and attendees can look forward to celebrations of both cancer survivors and caregivers and a luminaria ceremony to honor and remember loved ones. Plus, there will be activities, including lawn games, a silent auction and grab bags for kids.

17. Open Gardens

SATURDAY AND SUNDAY | WASHINGTON HIGHLANDS

Five neighborhood gardens are opening up for two days of admiration and inspiration. In partnership with The Garden Conservancy, The Garden Club of Greater Milwaukee (GCGM) is hosting Open Days in the Washington Highlands, a residential area in Wauwatosa known for its historic homes and lovingly-tended gardens. With a ticket, visitors can walk participating gardens in the neighborhood.

18. Rooftop Yoga

SUNDAY FROM 10-11 A.M. | HYATT REGENCY MILWAUKEE

If you’re looking for a way to – quite literally – elevate your morning yoga, the Vue on the top floor of the Hyatt Regency will be hosting an all-levels yoga class with a view of the Milwaukee skyline. Get tickets here.

19. Unstoppable: Films by Filmmakers with Disabilities

SUNDAY AT 3 P.M. | ORIENTAL THEATRE

Slamdance’s “Unstoppable” Tour is coming to the Oriental Theatre on Sunday, showcasing seven short films by artists and filmmakers with visible and non-visible disabilities. All screenings will have ASL interpreters for live introductions. Get tickets here.
