1. Cupid’s Stoplight: An Anti-Valentine’s Day Soiree

FRIDAY FROM 7-11 P.M. | NORTHERN LIGHTS EVENTS VENUE 

This mixer allows guests to play Cupid without any social pressure. Upon arrival, you’ll receive a colored wristband that represents your interest in connecting with others: red = taken, yellow = maybe, green = single. Wristbands are encouraged but not mandatory. The night includes a complimentary beer or wine, assorted snacks from various caterers, tarot card readings, and music from DJ Smoov.  

2. Murder Ballad – Rock Musical 

FRIDAY AND SATURDAY AT 7 P.M. OR 10 P.M. | QUARTERS ROCK ‘N ROLL PALACE

For two nights only, the Milwaukee Rock Theatre presents this live theater experience combining love, deceit, jealousy, murder and rock ‘n’ roll. If you are a true crime fan or lover of musical theater, this show might make a fun night out.  

3. Groove Theory: Songs In the Key of Love

Head to The Cooperage to enjoy the ultimate love soundtrack in this installment of Brew City Soul’s Groove Theory series. This evening will feature renditions of classic and modern love songs and timeless R&B ballads for a memorable Valentine’s Day. Ticket options include couples discount and two VIP upgrades.  

4. For the Love of Art

Join Shane McAdams, Saint Kate’s curator in residence, for an intimate tour with a glass of bubbly of the hotel’s art collection and featured exhibitions. View works from internationally acclaimed artists such as Mickalene Thomas and Damien Hirst, and Milwaukee-based artists such as Jason Yi, Michelle Grabner and John Riepenhoff. Lupi & Iris turns up its romance level even further with a three-course, prix-fixe dinner with an optional add-on of in-house floral arrangements designed by Daria Aitken-Siegel for your table.   

6. Martini Flights & Chocolate Pairings  

FRIDAY AND SATURDAY FROM 8-9 P.M. | CENTRAL STANDARD CRAFTHOUSE & KITCHEN 

Valentine’s Day is a holiday of decadence – fit for martinis and chocolates. This night will feature Central Standard’s Expresso Martini, Chocolate Brandy Martini, and the Door County Cherry Cosmopolitan; all paired with Freese’s Candy Shoppe chocolates for an indulgent tasting experience.

7. Mosaics Date Night For 2 Workshop 

FRIDAY FROM 6-9 P.M. | LION’S TAIL BREWING  

Two Mikes Art Factory is hosting a mosaic workshop for Valentine’s or Galentine’s. Tickets come with a heart-shaped plaque and a tutorial on how to design a unique piece using glass tiles, along with your first round of drinks and a sharable plate of hors d’oeuvres from Apple Spice Catering. No experience needed!

8. Valentine’s Weekend Adult Magic And Comedy Show

This unique show blends the mesmerizing art of magic with the joy of standup comedy from the Two Brothers One Mind magicians. With interactive comedy and mind-reading, their performance is meant to make your laugh while wondering, “What did I just see?”

9. Valentine’s Day Make & Take 2025

This craft extravaganza will have different printmaking and craft activities, snacks, beverages and good vibes. Bring a friend or partner, or fly solo. This event is open craft time, so show up and leave as you please.

Singer-songwriter Lisa Medina is joined by award-winning songwriter Joe Jenks for a night of contemporary folk music. Tickets are available at the door or online.  

11. Ephemeral Love: A Valentine’s Workshop   

SATURDAY AT 3 P.M. | SAINT KATE – THE ARTS HOTEL 

Explore nostalgia and creativity with this mixed-media workshop with Artist in Residence Megan Woodard Johnson. Take inspiration from vintage materials and use pencil, paint, and collages to create an abstract personal keepsake to take home.  

12. Love Is Brewing Tour

Learn about the history of weddings in the Gilded Age at the Pabst Mansion and how love is depicted in its art collection while sipping on champagne during this Valentine’s tour. 

13. Love Lunch: A Galentine’s Drag Show

Spend your Galentine’s with a drag show! The afternoon features performances from local queens Dear Ruthie, Ramona the Drag Queen and Dita Von. Reservations are encouraged. 

14. Sofar Sounds: Love On Tap 

SATURDAY FROM 7-10 P.M | POMONA CIDER CO.  

Add a little unexpectedness to your Valentine’s concert date by bringing your partner to Pomona Cider Co. for a Sofar Sounds show, with intimate melodies from three artists who won’t be revealed until the show starts.

15. Valentine’s Pop Up Event 

SATURDAY FROM 12-5 P.M. | TRIPLE TAPROOM & KITCHEN 

At this family-friendly pop-up event, shop from local makers and artists, create a free Valentine’s card, and enjoy special cocktails and mocktails. Find hand-poured candles, embroidery art, apparel, hand-painted plant pots, plant accessories and more.

SUNDAY 2-4 P.M. | RADIO MILWAUKEE
