The Wolf on Broadway Will Host Its First Pop-Up at Uncle Wolfie’s

The new restaurant will be previewing their food this Friday.

What are your summer 2022 dining plans? Put this on your list: Grab a meal at The Wolf on Broadway. We don’t have the arrival date for the new restaurant yet, but we are inching closer to it.

The Wolf – which will anchor the new Kinn Guesthouse Downtown (600 N. Broadway) – will be the younger sibling of Uncle Wolfie’s Breakfast Tavern (234 E. Vine St.) in Brewers Hill.

VOTE FOR MILWAUKEE’S BEST BEER!

What’s Brew City’s best? We’ve picked 16 of our favorite Milwaukee craft beers for a March Madness-style tournament, but it’s up to you to pick the winner! Will it be bright and hoppy? Dark and malty? A zippy lager? Every one is worthy of the title; who will claim the sudsy crown?

As promised when owners Whitney and Wolfgang Schaefer announced this project, Uncle Wolfie’s will host some pop-ups to give diners a taste of what’s to come at The Wolf. The first popup is coming up fast – it’s Friday, June 10 (5-8 p.m.).

They’re not taking reservations so just stop on by. The menu will feature starters, salads, sandwiches and desserts from The Wolf’s lunch menu. If you have to wait for your table, they can hook you up with a cocktail to enjoy outside while you wait.

Ann Christenson has covered dining for Milwaukee Magazine since 1997. She was raised on a diet of casseroles that started with a pound of ground beef and a can of Campbell's soup. Feel free to share any casserole recipes with her.
