The Wisconsin State Fair Created Cocoa Cream Puffs for the Holidays

We hoped, we wished, we asked Santa himself – and now it’s here!

Christmas is coming a little early this year over at the Wisconsin State Fair. After venturing into new territory earlier this year with its first-ever Pumpkin Spice Cream Puffs, they’re ready to shake it up again and make all of our wishes come true with their sweet, delectable and puffiest puff pastry.

Yes, it’s true! Cocoa Cream Puffs are a thing, and we are ready for it!

Not to brag, but in our review of the Pumpkin Spice Cream Puffs, we pondered as to whether there would be holiday flavored cream puffs this year – predicting the possible flavors, predetermining the precise point at which the treats would potentially be released – and sure enough, we were correct in our assumptions! Holiday puffs are here!

Well, they will be here on Dec. 11-13.

“Though the weather outside may be frightful, these limited-edition Cocoa Cream Puffs are delightful…” the puff’s website says.

The puffs will have a “festive dash” of sweet cocoa added to the classic cream puff, and they’re topped with a light dusting of powdered sugar and cocoa powder.

As if we weren’t already drooling, they said since we’ve all been “extra nice this year” they’re adding other treats to the lineup too! They have chocolate chip cookies and peppermint brownies for available for pick up along with the cream puffs.

If you want to be among the first to try this bite of holiday cheer, preorders are available (and “highly encouraged!”) starting today and go until Dec. 6. Once Dec. 7 hits, prices increase, so don’t wait around. You can order the puffs online here.

Pickup is Friday, Dec. 11 and Saturday Dec. 12 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 13 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The pickup location is at Gate 5 of the Wisonsin State Fair Grounds, located at 640 S. 84th St. in West Allis.
