Pumpkin Spice Cream Puffs Are a Thing and We’re Drooling

This is a big deal. HUGE.

The Wisconsin State Fair just announced that they have created pumpkin spice cream puffs. Yup, you read that correctly. With the help of the Wisconsin Baker’s Association our humble State Fair is merging their fluffy and flakey trademark dessert with the taste of fall.

“State Fair and fall flavors collide in this limited time offering,” a description of the puff reads. “For the first time ever, experience the taste of pumpkin spice-infused cream filling and powdered sugar topping in these must-have treats.”

We. Can’t. Wait.

VOTE FOR MILWAUKEE’S BEST BEER!

What’s Brew City’s best? We’ve picked 16 of our favorite Milwaukee craft beers for a March Madness-style tournament, but it’s up to you to pick the winner! Will it be bright and hoppy? Dark and malty? A zippy lager? Every one is worthy of the title; who will claim the sudsy crown?

But, alas, we have to. The limited-edition flavor won’t be available until Thursday, Oct. 1, and that availability only lasts through the following Sunday, Oct. 4. “Limited-edition” is exactly right.

If you want to make sure you get your jaw around this fall treat, it is “strongly recommended” that you order in advance. The puffs will be available for curbside pickup at the Wisconsin State Fair Park from 8 a.m.-6 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday. They will be sold in 3-packs and 6-packs.
