The Bucks Are Bringing Back Their Cream City Edition Uniforms

The Bucks originally wore the uniforms during the 2019-2020 campaign, but they were banned by the NBA due to technical difficulties. Now, they’re back!

The Milwaukee Bucks are bringing back the popular Nike Cream City Edition uniform for the 2025-26 season.

“This uniform embodies the history of Milwaukee and its ‘Cream City’ moniker with a design that celebrates the cream city bricks that our city was built with,” Dustin Godsey, Bucks chief sales and marketing officer, said in a statement. “The Cream City uniform has been a fan-favorite since its debut, and we’re thrilled to see it back on the court this season.”

The Bucks originally wore the uniforms during the 2019-20 campaign. The uniform will return this season alongside a custom court at Fiserv Forum.

It’s time to pick your Milwaukee favorites for the year!

Despite their initial popularity the Bucks were forced to stop wearing the Cream City jerseys because color interfered with the technology used for on-court advertisements during the television broadcasts. The NBA subsequently banned the cream-colored uniforms but technological improvements have allowed for their return.

The predominantly cream color jersey also features the Bucks’ green and blue striping and script font that pays homage to the team’s history while adding a modern twist to the design.

The uniform shorts also prominently feature the stylized “M” at the bottom along with a salute to the state of Wisconsin on the shorts buckle.

The Bucks Nike Cream City Edition retail collection, including the new Cream City jersey, will go on sale in November.
