The Milwaukee Brewers have announced a new off-season event, the Brewers Winter Warm-Up, which will take place Jan. 13-14 at locations Downtown and in New Berlin.

The two-day event features a new format combining fan-favorite experiences such as autograph sessions and main stage entertainment, in addition to the Brewers Winter Warm-Up Kids Clinic, a two-hour baseball session where children will receive batting and fielding instruction from the Brewers Baseball Academy and Brewers players.

It’s time to pick your Milwaukee favorites for the year!

Players, management and top prospects will be on-site for the weekend, with Jan. 13 activities taking place Downtown at the Miller High Life Theatre (500 W. Kilbourn Ave.) and in the facility’s ballrooms. The day will feature autograph sessions from 10-11 a.m. and a main stage show in the theater at noon. The main stage show will include about 90 minutes of live entertainment hosted by Brewers broadcasters with player interviews, game shows and more.

Children ages 14 and under can sign up for the Brewers Winter Warm-Up Kids Clinic, which takes place Jan. 14. Two sessions will be offered, and each session will include a variety of drills and instruction for kids. All experience levels are welcome. The clinics will take place at Ethic Sports Academy (5330 S. Racine Ave.) in New Berlin.

Scheduling conflicts at the Wisconsin Center District and Wisconsin State Fair Park necessitated a move to the new venues and the alternate format, according to the team.

Ticket options include:

  • Jan. 13, main stage theater show only, $22 (Noon – 1:30 p.m.)
  • Jan. 13, main stage theater show plus autograph session, $42 (10 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.)
  • Jan. 14, Kids Clinic (ages 14 and under), $30 per session (session 1 runs from 9-11 a.m.; session 2 runs from noon – 2 p.m.)

“We are excited to bring back an off-season event that offers opportunities for our fans to engage with their favorite Brewers players and key members of the organization,” said Brewers president of business operations Rick Schlesinger in an announcement. “This event will feature many of the favorite activities from the former Brewers On Deck, with the addition of a set of Kids Clinics the next day. By hosting two days of activities, there will be great opportunities for Brewers fans to get their fill of baseball as we ring in the New Year.”

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday.
