Tenuta’s To Go (3902 S. Whitnall Ave.), an offshoot of Tenuta’s Italian Restaurant on Clement Avenue, has closed. It opened in 2019. Owner Frank Tenuta posted the news on the carryout operation’s Facebook page and website.
The to-go location served a lengthy menu of dishes the flagship location on Clement Avenue is also known for (pizzas, entrees like chicken parm), plus casual items such as chicken wings and sandwiches.
Tenuta’s announcement:
After some very difficult evaluation, we have come to the decision to close our Tenuta’s To Go location on Howard Ave. While we are grateful for the support of the community and our staff, we need to make this business decision at this time. Our final day for service will be March 28,2021.
