As any good campaign manager knows, it’s not a matter of if a candidate will screw up royally, but when and who’s going to assist in the damage control when that happens. We took a look at some recent flubs by Wisco politicians normally noted for their steadiness and precision, how they mitigated the damage, and what we can all learn from their pains. The ignominy varied from the slight (see: magic tricks) to the profound (a ritual denouncing).
