Catch a Matinée
Add a little drama to your day with a matinee at one of the city’s theaters. The Milwaukee Rep, Skylight Music Theatre and Next Act all offer Saturday afternoon performances. You’ll find black-box character drama at Next Act, musical extravaganzas at Skylight, and a little of everything at the Rep.

Host a Board Game Party
If you haven’t played board games recently, you may have forgotten just how fun they can be. Order some pizzas and ask your friends to bring their favorites. Or, head to Mana Tap (10600 W. Bluemound Rd.), a new bar in Wauwatosa that stocks dozens of board games, from the classics to recent and more obscure titles.

It’s time to pick your Milwaukee favorites for the year!
Try an Activity Bar
Brookfield’s Whirlyball offers its titular motorized sport, something like bumper cars meshed with basketball and lacrosse. First & Bowl in Tosa has Wiffle ball, pickleball and even bowling with footballs. Throw axes at Axe MKE, or swing by Slingshot Bar in Stallis, where you can shoot pellets at a target-rich range.
Yoga Out and About
Book a session with MKE Yoga Social, and you can namaste all over Milwaukee, from Saint Kate – The Arts Hotel to 3rd St. Market Hall to Eagle Park Brewing. Day-of bookings are welcome. And if you’re exceptionally adventurous, the studio even offers “clothing optional” yoga sessions.
