Think about inking this special event on your calendar: an August 24 dinner called “Sibling Rivalry,” in which the seven courses (with beverage pairings) are prepared by two chefs – Erik Hansen of the Shorecrest Hotel’s Supper and Cole Ersel of Supper’s sister Wolf Peach. The courses will alternate in the styles of the two restaurants. So for example, one course – currywurst, tomato marsala jam – is followed by beef tenderloin, roasted chanterelle mushrooms, sweet corn and bordelaise. The dinner is at Supper (1962 N. Prospect Ave.) The cost is $125, plus tax and gratuity. Call 414-509-6074 for a reservation. August 24: 6 p.m. reception; 7 p.m. first course. Find more menu info here.
