Wisconsin received a massive gaming upgrade in 2023 when Potawatomi Casino Hotel launched its Sportsbook, a premier sports betting spot. The state-of-the-art facility has 94 betting kiosks open 24/7, a betting counter staffed with up to 10 helpful employees at a time, and a 2,000-square-foot screen showing the biggest games across all major sports.
Throughout the year, different contests and special events are hosted in the Sportsbook, adding to the fun. And this year, the Sportsbook will be the official sportsbook of the Green Bay Packers.
“We are thrilled to launch this historic multi-year partnership with the Green Bay Packers,” Brooks Boyd Sr., chairman of the Forest County Potawatomi, said when the deal was announced. “This partnership will create meaningful opportunities for our community while bringing fans new ways to engage with the team they love. We’re proud [to work] with one of the most iconic teams in all of professional sports.”

Since its opening, the Sportsbook has transformed into a destination on game days with a feeling unlike anywhere else in the state. During major sports events, the Sportsbook comes alive with activity. Big crowds show up to fill the room, all watching the games on the massive screens above – and the energy is high. You’ll be certain to hear plenty of whoops and cheers, and when a game is tight – or even when someone has a different bet hanging in the balance – the atmosphere is absolutely electric.
At Potawatomi Sportsbook, you can place bets on pretty much any professional or college-level sport with the exception of, due to state law, in-state college teams like the Wisconsin Badgers. The process is easy, with self-serve kiosks and a friendly staff working the counter, eager to assist newcomers to sports betting. “We’re happy to help out at any time and answer any questions,” says Austin Herdina, the Sportsbook manager.
You can relax in one of the Sportsbook’s plush recliners, grab a bite to eat at the pub while you watch the action, or stay close to the screens with the most hyped fans. The energy is particularly high when pro football takes over on Sunday afternoons.
“Our space here is so fun when there are nine games happening between noon and 3 and the room is full of people cheering,” Herdina says. “It’s an awesome atmosphere.”

Dining Destinations
Potawatomi has a lot more than just gaming opportunities. Recent years have seen the casino elevate its dining with fresh, new takes. Here are a few to try:
Sportsbook Dining: This spot inside the new Sportsbook is suitably simple, with game day favorites like burgers and fries, cheese curds and jalapeño poppers.
Dream Dance Steakhouse: For more than 25 years, this steakhouse has been a Potawatomi favorite. A recent renovation saw the classic spot revitalized with a revamped menu.
RuYi: Sample vibrant Asian and fusion cuisine at RuYi, which draws from Vietnamese, Japanese, Korean, Chinese and Thai culinary traditions.
Marketplace: You have plenty of options at this food court near the Sportsbook. Grab a bowl of ramen, a slice of pizza, a taco or even a slushie.
