New Restaurants and Sanford's 30th Anniversary on This Bites

On the very latest This Bites – on 88Nine Radio Milwaukee – we look ahead to a few restaurant openings, including Pupuseria Los Angeles, which will specialize in the Salvadoran delicacy known as the pupusa (a griddle-cooked flatbread made from masa harina). It’s wonderful topped with a cabbage relish called curtido. The pupuseria is targeted to open in early 2020.

In spring of 2020, the owners of Le Reve Patisserie & Café will open their cooking school, also located in the village of Wauwatosa. Troquet, as the school is named, will offer its first classes in March 2020. We’ll tell you a little about what’s already scheduled. 

In honor of Sanford Restaurant’s 30th anniversary, the East Side institution is doing two nights of celebratory meals, and founder Sandy D’Amato is expected to return as a guest chef. The six-course dinners are December 9 and 10. Reserve your spot now at 414-276-9608.
