What we’re reading on this Friday morning. Gov. Scott Walker’s reputation regarding organized labor has preceded him in Iowa, New Hampshire and South Carolina. Gosh, you have to get up early to run for president these days. Are the Stones coming to Milwaukee? Or is this an ad for mouthwash? A place called The Container Store is opening at Mayfair. It is exactly what it sounds like. The TV epic “Fraggle Rock,” which turns out wasn’t just a figment of my imagination, will become a movie. “Mini black holes” and parallel universes are on the docket.

Matt has written for Milwaukee Magazine since 2006, when he was a lowly intern. Since then, he’s held the posts of assistant news editor and, most recently, senior editor. He’s lived in South Carolina, Tennessee, Connecticut, Iowa, and Indiana but mostly in Wisconsin. He wants to do more fishing but has a hard time finding worms.
