Deaths linked to fentanyl, Wisconsinites in D.C. and Giannis outstanding in NBA All-Star Game

Good afternoon, and happy Presidents Day. Here’s a little reading to keep you occupied.

The Journal Sentinel has this Monday about recent deaths in Milwaukee County related to the synthetic opiate furanyl fentanyl.

And speaking of Presidents Day, Fox News had a contentious interview about Donald Trump’s attacks on the press, conducted by Chris Wallace, with our own Trump Chief of Staff Reince Priebus.

And speaking of Wisconsin Washington bigwigs, the New York Times isn’t happy with House Speaker Paul Ryan’s plan to repeal and replace Obamacare – a plan embraced by Trump’s health secretary, Tom Price.

Whitefish Bay’s Jewish Community Center was evacuated Monday morning – after a similar evacuation late last month following threats to the center and others like it around the country.

In sports, our own Giannis Antetokounmpo showed up big time in the National Basketball Association’s All-Star Game Sunday, leading the East team with 30 points. But the West won the light-on-defense game, 192-182, and New Orleans’ Anthony Davis led all scorers with 52.
