Good morning, and happy feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe (big day in Mexico)!
Here’s what we’re reading today:
First and foremost, the Packers kicked some serious Seattle dupa yesterday. Five interceptions? 38 points? Yeah, baby.
And welcome to winter. The area got four to eight inches of snow over the weekend – though I swear it was more than that on my sidewalk – and lots of frigid air is headed in our direction.
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell says the Senate will investigate the alleged Russian hacking of last month’s U.S. election – though president-elect Donald Trump and his chief-of-staff-to-be, our own Reince Priebus, are skeptics.
Meanwhile, the new front-runner for Trump’s secretary of state, Exxon Mobil CEO Rex Tillerson, has close relations with Russia – both an advantage and a disadvantage, according to the New York Times.
We can ask Trump about all of this Tuesday, as he takes another lap of his victory tour at State Fair Park.
Oh, and one more thing: Check out “Bike Czar” Dave Schlabowske’s story about last weekend’s Milwaukee Santa Rampage bike ride. (And watch that video!)
