Milwaukee Psych Fest Celebrates 9 Years of Psychedelic Music

The fest is coming to The Cooperage May 10-11.

The vibes at The Cooperage are going to be far out this month. From May 10-11, Milwaukee Psych Fest will take over the lakeshore venue for its ninth celebration of psychedelic music, with bands such as Garcia Peoples, Dire Wolves, Film School and many more.

Nationally recognized artist Lance Gordon will be back in town, putting on his live liquid light show Mad Alchemy, pictured here.

The trippy experience coats all four walls of the space in projections of psychedelic colors and patterns created live by Gordon in response to the music on stage.

“I really enjoy working with the people of Milwaukee – it’s a labor of love,” Gordon says. “We create an immersive environment. … The Cooperage has such a great vibe for it.”
