The Milwaukee Film Festival kicks off on April 11, with over 300 films screening at four local venues – including the recent addition of the Downer Theatre (2589 N. Downer Ave.). The theater is reopening for the festival, after closing last fall. After the film festival, it will be open for normal operations beginning April 26.
