This Wisconsin-Filmed Movie Will Be Streaming Next Week

“Mags and Julie Go on a Road Trip” will hit Amazon and iTunes on Nov. 24.

Mags and Julie Go on a Road Trip was filmed entirely in Wisconsin. The crew was entirely local, and the director/writer/producer Ryann Liebl is a native daughter of our beautiful state.

Mags and Julie is a comedy about two friends (one being Mags and one being Julie) who go on a road trip and “get more than they bargained for.” The movie was shot in Milwaukee, Door County, Sheboygan, Ootsburg and more, so you’ll see plenty of our state over the course of this wild road trip.

Join Milwaukee Magazine and Quad for the third-annual Unity Awards Event on March 8 from 6:30-9 p.m. at GATHER in the Deer District.

The comedy also stars Wes Tank, one of Milwaukee finest musicians and artists who went viral this past year for his infectious rapping of Dr. Seuss books over Dr. Dre beats and was featured on our very own MilMag Live.

You can find the film on Amazon and iTunes on Nov. 24.
