Local Chef Appearing on an Upcoming Episode of ‘Chopped’

Catch the episode on April 4.

“Chopped.” Yep, the April 4 “Fry of the Beholder” episode. Hacienda revealed the news on social media.

Hacienda isn’t typically open on Tuesdays but it’ll be open on the 4th for a viewing party (5-9 p.m.) and offer the full menu of dishes Turner, a native Texan, created.  That includes everything from smoked wings and BBQ nacho bites to a green chile burger and cherrywood smoked salmon taco plate.

It’s time to pick your Milwaukee favorites for the year!

As for Turner’s Chopped debut, Hacienda posted this comment from their chef: “Let’s just say I made a tasty ‘every person’ type meal that we’ll sample during the viewing party.”

Guests at the viewing party can also enter a raffle to win prizes like a private multiple course meal for up to 10 people. The proceeds will benefit a culinary camp for kids through the American Culinary Federation.
