Mondays

Musical Mondays

JULY 8-AUG. 26, 6:30 P.M. | LAKE PARK

Kick off your week with an evening of tunes in the East Side’s gem of a park. At this community series, in its 26th season, expect to hear a varied lineup of jazz, early rock, Afro-fusion and more.

Tuesdays

Chill on the Hill 

JUNE 4-AUG. 27, 6:30 P.M. | HUMBOLDT PARK

While you’re enjoying the tunes at this Bay View hill, dine and drink from food trucks and the nearby Vine Humboldt Beer Garden. These diverse concerts attract a vibrant crowd every year.

I love it when they do classical music [MSO, June 18], but I like all music, and they have a little bit of everything. Plus, it’s fun to have a little picnic and just hang out on a nice summer evening.”

 

 


Wednesdays

Washington Park Wednesdays

JULY 10-AUG. 28, 5 P.M. | WASHINGTON PARK

This West Side park’s grand bandshell is a classic, and so is this concert series. Grab a seat during any of the themed weeks, such as Old School and Farm to Park, and enjoy bites from food trucks and activities for kids. 

Tosa Tonight

JUNE 19-AUG. 14 6 P.M. | HART PARK, WAUWATOSA

The cozy pavilion in Hart Park offers a family-friendly lineup of acclaimed Wisconsin musicians and international performers. Be sure to catch the fireworks at the Aug. 7 show. 

Thursdays

Jazz in the Park

JUNE 6-AUG. 29, 5 P.M. | Cathedral Square Park

Sip wine or the beverage of your choice while kicking back to a wide variety of music. If you’re looking for a date night show, this is a good – and popular – choice.

Music at the Market

MAY 30-OCT. 3, 5 P.M. | SOUTH MILWAUKEE DOWNTOWN MARKET

Shopping’s always better with music. Pick out produce, art and other handcrafted items, and hear performances from bands playing classic rock, soul, bluegrass and more. 

Fridays

Deer District Summer Concert Series 

MAY 31-SEPT. 27, 6 P.M. | THE BEER GARDEN 

Big concerts inside Fiserv Forum aren’t the only music events in the arena area. A rotating lineup of bands playing country, Latin swing, rockabilly and more will take the stage in the Deer District’s Beer Garden. 

Starry Nights 

JUNE 28-AUG. 9, 6:30 P.M. | SHARON LYNNE WILSON CENTER FOR THE ARTS, BROOKFIELD

Pack a picnic and sit on the lawn or reserve a table at this concert series, featuring a lineup of Irish rock, classical music and more. The July 12 concert also includes a classic car show. 

Saturdays

Celebrate Culture, Jazz & Blues

JUNE 22-AUG. 31, 2-6 P.M. | ROSE PARK

Local bands and national acts of “yesterday, today and tomorrow” will play jazz, blues and more in Bronzeville.

Sundays

Café Sopra Mare

JUNE 9-SEPT. 29, 10:30 A.M. | VILLA TERRACE DECORATIVE ARTS MUSEUM

Start your day strong with a morning of music and coffee at Milwaukee’s Italian villa. Listen to smaller ensembles fill the picturesque courtyard with classical and contemporary sounds.
