Lakefront Brewery Has One of the City’s Most Scenic Patios

Views of passing boats and the skyline, recent upgrades and a new concert series have made this riverside hangout even more appealing.

Milwaukee has plenty of patios but only a few that overlook the Milwaukee River, and just one that has the particular charisma of Lakefront Brewery’s.

Upgrades two summers ago made the space behind the brewery that much cooler. At RiverWalk level, it’s one long counter where you sit or stand and watch the kayakers and pontoon boats below, or gaze south to the city skyline.

Lakefront introduced a new weekend afternoon concert series, Current Sounds, this year, adding a little energy to the otherwise chill ambiance. Generally, you just want to sip your Riverwest Stein, have a little nosh (the brewery’s CurdWagon is open on weekends) and bottle this feeling for six months from now.
