July 26: The Right Now

If you’re ever wondering what to do on a Thursday night in Milwaukee, look no further than Jazz in the Park. Once again, the summer concert series takes place on Thursday, July 26, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Cathedral Square Park, and this week, The Right Now will take center stage.

Although the group has Chicago roots, The Right Now is traveling all over the country this summer on tour. The soulful pop group comprises vocalist Stefanie Berecz, keyboardist and guitarist Brendan O’Connell, guitarist Chris Corsale, bassist Greg Nergaard, drummer Lucas Gillan, trumpeter Caleb Mitchell and tenor saxophonist Jim Schram.

The Right Now began touring together in 2008 and has released three albums, including their newest album Starlight. The album explores a complex and complicated world through the eyes of various people in different societal roles. It includes a wide variety of music, from dance beat to soul to intimate ballads and much more.
