June 21: The People Brothers Band

This week, Jazz in the Park welcomes The People Brothers Band (PBB) on Thursday, June 21, from 5 to 9 p.m. at Cathedral Square Park. The group originates from Madison and has definitely made their mark on the Midwest music scene.

PBB includes vocalist Teresa Marie, vocalist and keyboardist Bobby G, vocalist and percussionist Craig Baumann, vocalist and drummer Greg Schmitt, EWI and saxophonist Max “Maxaphone” Felsheim, lead guitarist Paulie Matushek, bassist Scott Lochner and vocalist and guitarist Tim Lochner.

Together, the PBB brings the party with their energetic stage presence, spreading their love to the crowd through their music. Outside of their lively performances, the group also hosts an annual Charity Jamboree, raising over $100,000 for various charities. You might also know of them from hosting the Driftless Music Gardens in Yuba, WI, where they also host the annual Bonfire Music and Arts Festival, as well as People Fest.

You won’t want to miss The People Brothers Band this week. Check out one of their videos below, and find more of their music on their website.
