David Mamet’s Milwaukee Gambit
THE PULITZER PRIZE-WINNING playwright David Mamet is best known for his, well, plays. But evidently he’s been branching into cartooning because his agent sent us a surprisingly decent drawing he’d made.
It imagines what Marcel Proust’s masterwork, Remembrance of Things Past, might have looked like if the Parisian author had lived in Milwaukee – and apparently had drunk enough beer to misspell “remembrance.”
