After closing for a one-month renovation and expansion, the by-the-slice pizzeria is again serving up Maui Wowie and Buffalo chicken pizzas.
It’s a return to mac and cheese pies for the East Side Ian’s Pizza (2035 E. North Ave., 414-727-9200), which closed August 9 to do the necessary reno to combine storefronts with 2031 E. North Ave. The work included both expanding the dining area – after five years, the business had maxed out its space – and putting in a new oven (a Roto-flex), which will ostensibly allow the pizzeria to fill orders faster. Reopening day is, well, today (Sept. 15). New menu items include brunch pizza slices and beverages (wines and tap beers, once the application process goes through).
