How to Play Along in the Third Ward’s Women-Owned Business Bingo

The Historic Third Ward Association is hosting a women-owned business bingo to encourage folks to get out and support local shops and restaurants.

The Historic Third Ward Association is holding a widespread bingo game to support some of Milwaukee’s Woman-owned stores 

The game kicked off on Saturday, March 8, on International Woman’s Day and will run through Monday, March 31.  It features over 20 woman-owned boutiques and restaurants in the Historic Third Ward.  

To start, participants can pick up a bingo card at any participating location. One card is permitted per person. Participants can get a stamp each time they visit visit ones of the businesses and make a purchase ($5 minimum). After completing a row of stamps and getting bingo, participants can take their card to Broadway Paper to claim a prize, a $25 gift card to one of the participating businesses.  


It’s time to pick your Milwaukee favorites for the year!

 

Participating businesses include Lela, Salty Paws, Ben & Jerry’s Scoop Shop, Mainstream Boutique, as well as vendors in the Milwaukee Public Market such as Thai-namite, C. Adams Bakery and more. View the full list here.  

“We are always looking for new ways to support and promote our many woman-owned businesses in the Historic Third Ward,” says Jordan Dechambre, marketing and communications director of the Historic Third Ward Association, “We couldn’t think of a better time than Woman’s History Month to celebrate these small businesses, and are really excited about the overwhelming response we’ve seen so far.”
