Festa means 'party' in Italian, and this weekend's rainy weather did not stop the party!

The rain and gloomy weather did not stop Festa Italiana from being another hit at the Summerfest grounds last weekend. Carnival rides, delicious Italian food and wine samplings flooded the festival as locals got a little taste of Italy. The annual celebration of Italian culture took place July 20-22 with plenty of activities running all day, including bocce ball, futsal and even a pizza-making competition. If you didn’t get the chance to stop by this year, you’ll want to add it to your next summer bucket list!

The annual Festa Italiana celebration was held at Henry Maier Festival Park from July 20-22, honoring Italian culture and heritage.
