Margaret Harris puts her degrees in art and education to good use curating the home department for the 17 Sendik’s and Fresh2Go markets she co-owns with her three brothers. “I love a good lesson plan,” she says. “That’s how we organize our displays.”

Harris also handles other facets of the business but tries to stay focused on sourcing products for the home section. And she has plenty of great ideas for Thanksgiving hostess gifts and seasonal splurges. “A pretty Christmas ornament tied to a bottle of wine or a package of cute cocktail napkins and a spreader tied with a bow is a great little gift without spending a lot,” she says.
