Giannis Antetokounmpo’s Twitter account was hacked Thursday afternoon for about 10 minutes. The account posted a series of obscene and racist tweets, including tweets about coronavirus, Kobe Bryant’s death, Stephen Curry and Lebron James.
The tweets prompted a quick response from surprised and angry fans reacting to the rapid-fire vulgarity.
All of the tweets were quickly deleted within a few minutes, presumably when Antetokounmpo and/or his management team regained control of the account.

Shortly after the tweets were taken down, the Milwaukee Bucks commented that the incident is being investigated.
Antetokounmpo’s younger brother, Kostas, commented that it wasn’t just Giannis’ Twitter that was hacked. His phone, email and bank accounts were also affected.
Giannis’ twitter, phone, email and bank accounts were hacked! He genuinely apologizes for everything that was tweeted and he will be back as soon as possible! The things that were said by this hacker were extremely inappropriate and disgusting!
