The food and drink lineup for this year’s Eaux Claires Music and Arts Festival (August 12-13) is looking real good. Announced today, the roster features more than 30 local and regional food-and-bev vendors. This is along with the 55 music acts – Bon Iver, Erykah Badu, James Blake, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, among them – that make up this Wisconsin event.
New food vendors this year include Clear Water BBQ (an Eau Claire business smokehouse whose meats are locally sourced), Dumpling Darling (Korean inspired, hailing from Iowa City), mobile café The Marigold, Daryl’s Doghouse, Retro Burger/KC Diner and Shadrach’s Fiery Furnace Traveling Pizza Company. Milwaukee’s own Pete’s Pops will offer some of its (apropos for the weather) iced treats-on-a-stick in flavors like avocado and chocolate sea salt.
Mobile food businesses from Madison range from the Slide Food Cart (featuring nine slider variations), Melted Craft Grill Cheese, Banzo (falafel, hummus, etc.) and aptly named Curd Girl (fried cheese curds with gourmet sauces). Minnesota’s food scene represents, too.
As for drinks, you’ll find Autumn Harvest Winery and Orchard (Chippewa Falls), Leinenkugel, The Brewing Projekt (Eau Claire), Summit Brewing Company (St. Paul, Minn.) and Lagunitas (Petaluma, Calif.). Click here for more fest info.
